How to Set Up Your Harvest Grain MillUpdated 2 months ago
Setting up your NutriMill Harvest Grain Mill properly ensures smooth operation and consistent milling results. Follow this guide for a hassle-free setup.
1. Unboxing & Checking Components
Before starting, ensure you have all the necessary components:
✔ Harvest Grain Mill Unit
✔ Hopper & Lid
✔ Cleaning Brush
2. Preparing for First Use
✔ Mill 2 cups of white rice and discard the flour – This helps remove any residue from manufacturing.
✔ Ensure the mill is on a hard, flat surface for stability.
✔ Plug the mill into a standard 120V outlet.
3. Assembling the Mill
- Attach the Hopper – Align the black tabs through the slots and turn clockwise until it locks into place.
- Place a bowl under the flour spout to catch the milled flour.
- Ensure the texture control knob is set properly before milling.
4. Adjusting Flour Texture
✔ For finer flour, turn the knob clockwise.
✔ For coarser flour, turn the knob counterclockwise.
✔ If the millstones touch and you hear a rubbing noise, adjust slightly counterclockwise.
5. Milling Your First Grains
- Turn the mill on before adding grain to prevent jamming.
- Slowly add small amounts of grain to the hopper until you determine the best texture setting.
- Once the grain is fully milled, allow the hopper to empty before turning off the mill.
Your NutriMill Harvest is now ready for regular use!
